Understand
your silence...
your tone...
Understand
your thoughts...
your fears...
your deepest realms...
Understand
the shiver within...
the look in your eyes,
the language they speak....
And then sometimes...of these people you meet some'one' who...
Understands
the tremor of your heartbeat...
the language of your heart..
That is the beginning of...
a yearning to know,
a desire to understand
the language of his heartbeat
and when you do...
from some 'one' he becomes "the one"

Life "Sometimes you meet some people who...
Understand
your silence..." u said
..i wish there are people who really can understand your silence...Life will be much easier and beautiful.
Wow! Thats truely beautiful! Silence has its own language. And when u start relating to people's silence, you know for sure those people are special!
Thoughts are beautiful and even more is the way in which you have penned them down. Your pieces remind me of Rumi(13th century sufi mystic) - i don't know if you read him. But if you haven't then please do.
One of his works
The Helping Hand :
"ALL DAY I THINK ABOUT IT
THEN AT NIGHT I SAY IT
WHERE DID I COME FROM
AND WHAT DID I SUPPOSED TO BE DOING?
I HAVE NO IDEA
MY SOUL IS FROM ELSEWHERE,
I AM SURE OF THAT, AND I INTEND TO END UP THERE
THE DRUNKENESS BEGAN IN SOME OTHER TAVERN
WHEN I GET BACK AROUND THAT PLACE,
I'LL BE COMPLETELY SOBER.
MEANWHILE I AM LIKE A BIRD FROM ANOTHER CONTINENT,
SITTING IN THIS AWARY,
THE DAY IS COMING WHEN I FLY OFF,
BUT WHO IS IT IN MY EAR?
WHO HEARS MY VOICE?
WHO SAYS WORDS WITH MY MOUTH?
WHO LOOKS OUT WITH MY EYES?
WHAT IS THE SOUL?
I CANNOT STOP ASKING
IF I COULD TASTE ONE SIP FOR AN ANSWER,
I COULD BREAK OUT OF THIS PRISON FOR DRUNKEN
I DID'NT COME HERE ON MY OWN ACCORD,
AND I CAN'T LEAVE THAT WAY
WHO EVER BROUGHT ME HERE
WILL HAVE TO TAKE ME HOME"
We all have come from a single omnipotous soul (GOD) and will rejoin it when we go back. In this world we long for the soul mate, for "the one" but its very rare found.Actually this wail of our soul for a companion (or in times of pain) is the desire to rejoin our nest from where we came. Sufis have worked upon this idea - which actually defines love, belief, faith and other emotions to be our subconcious wail, caused in seperation from the original source (GOD). So when we rejoin it, we meet "the one".
Dajiba, Stories Untold-
Thanks for your encouraging words. Your thots are welcome here..yes its very rare that some one understands your silence...but there are people who do.
Afzal-
Its lovely to have the poet in you on my page, and its lovelier to see how you related sufism to our everyday thots of love, and "the omniptous" to our lover.. yes now I understand when you say that my train of thots in "Sometimes...." remind you of Rumi's poetry :-)
Distance is much,
We need to cover,
When someone becomes the One,
Language new is understood,
Silence is the name given,
Without words,
Without actions,
Heart speaks to heart,
Soul understands the soul,
Eternal bonding it is,
When you hear the heartbeats,
From millions kms apart,
Bonding it is unique,
Which happens with a Soul to a Soul...
